Med-CORDEX was not really Med-CORDEX at that time and even CORDEX was not really CORDEX yet, but this meeting is considered as the date of birth of the Med-CORDEX initiative and therefore as the 1st Med-CORDEX workshop. It was held at the same time as the HyMeX Task Team Modelling 3 in Toulouse (France), and hosted by Météo-France/CNRM.
